Mathematics: analysis and approaches guide
SL syllabus content and assessment outline; first assessment 2021
Accessed 2026-09-22 · Used by 61 guidesThis is an independent student resource. Curriculum claims come from the IB; calculator procedures come from Texas Instruments.
Each guide must belong to the AA SL course first assessed in 2021. The 2029 revision is used only as a boundary check.
Menu labels, commands and key sequences are checked against TI’s CE eGuide, reference material or knowledge base.
The worked example is independently evaluated and its domain, mode, units, rounding and interpretation are reviewed.
The guide separates calculator output from the mathematical communication a student still needs to show.
